I’m a guitarist, musical director and bassist based in Sydney, Australia. Over a more than fifteen year career, I’ve worked with a range of artists across the musical spectrum, played every type of gig from clubs to arenas to Australia’s biggest festivals, and worked live and in the studio in USA - including years based in Nashville aka Music City.
Artists I’ve worked with include Andrew Farriss, MI-SEX, Morgan Evans, Imogen Clark, Ruel, Steve Balbi, Boney M, Dami Im, Jasmine Rae, Jack River, Jamie McDell, Sinead Burgess, Adam Brand and more.
My biggest guitar heroes are Mike Campbell (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), John Mayer and Tom Bukovac, but I’m always expanding my horizons and the love the challenge of playing types of music and guitar playing outside of my usual wheelhouse.
I mainly play Fender Jazzmasters, Telecasters and Stratocasters and my custom Grubisa electric, Cole Clark acoustics and use Fender Princeton amplifiers, but love pulling out my Les Paul, Rickenbacker or Fender 12-string when the song calls for it.
I’ve always believed that if you have great people playing great songs with a great attitude and mutual respect, there’s nothing more enjoyable or satisfying than a life of making music.
